Foundational Skills

Three phases. Phase 1 is household scale: projects you can do this weekend in an apartment or on a rented lot. Phase 2 assumes you have some land, or access to some, and want to build real systems. Phase 3 is village scale, designing for 20–50 families. A note on the shape of the track: waste gets its own page in phase 1 because seeing your waste clearly is where everything starts, then it folds into the food and water systems it feeds. Governance shows up only in phase 3, because until there's a community, there's nothing to govern.
